One-dimensional nonequilibrium kinetic Ising models with branching annihilating random walk
نویسنده
چکیده
Nonequilibrium kinetic Ising models evolving under the competing effect of spin flips at zero temperature and nearest neighbour spin exchanges at T = ∞ are investigated numerically from the point of view of a phase transition. Branching annihilating random walk of the ferromagnetic domain boundaries determines the steady state of the system for a range of parameters of the model. Critical exponents obtained by simulation are found to agree, within error, with those in Grassberger’s cellular automata. PACS Numbers: 05.70.Ln, 05.50.+q

Crossovers from parity conserving to directed percolation universality.
The crossover behavior of various models exhibiting phase transition to absorbing phase with parity conserving class has been investigated by numerical simulations and cluster mean-field method. In case of models exhibiting Z_2 symmetric absorbing phases (the cellular automaton version of the nonequilibrium kinetic Ising model (NEKIMCA) and a stochastic cellular automaton invented by Grassberge...
متن کاملMean-field solution of the parity-conserving kinetic phase transition in one dimension
A two-offspring branching annihilating random walk model, with finite reaction rates, is studied in one-dimension. The model exhibits a transition from an active to an absorbing phase, expected to belong to theDP2 universality class embracing systems that possess two symmetric absorbing states, which in onedimensional systems, is in many cases equivalent to parity conservation. The phase transi...
متن کاملTwo-Species Branching Annihilating Random Walks with One Offspring
The last decades have seen considerable efforts to understand nonequilibrium absorbing phase transitions from an active phase into an absorbing phase consisting of absorbing states [1]. Once the system is trapped into an absorbing state, it can never escape from the state. Various one dimensional lattice models exhibiting absorbing transitions have been studied, and most of them turn out to bel...
متن کاملUniversal behavior of one-dimensional multispecies branching and annihilating random walks with exclusion.
A directed percolation process with two symmetric particle species exhibiting exclusion in one dimension is investigated numerically. It is shown that if the species are coupled by branching (A-->AB, B-->BA), a continuous phase transition will appear at the zero-branching-rate limit belonging to the same universality class as that of the two component branching and annihilating random-walk mode...
متن کاملDependent double branching annihilating random walk
Double (or parity conserving) branching annihilating random walk, introduced in [19], is a one-dimensional non-attractive particle system in which positive and negative particles perform nearest neighbor hopping, produce two offsprings to neighboring lattice points and annihilate when they meet. Given an odd number of initial particles, positive recurrence as seen from the leftmost particle pos...
